I went to the outlet center while I was vacationing in Lake George, because what's a vacation without a little shopping? :) Lake George is SUCH a beautiful place to visit. I've been three times within the last two years. My boyfriend's family goes often and are kind enough to take myself and my mother with them.
These outlets have pretty good stores like J. Crew, Banana Republic, Yankee Candle (My personal fav. I have to feed my adiction to candles somehow..)

This sweater from J.Crew (orig, $74.50 - sale $36.50) looks good in the photo, however it person it was much too boxy. Boxy tops don't look great on me, in my opinion, so I decided to leave without it. Unfortunetly, this was the only thing I liked in the store.

Onto Banana Republic: 50% off everything
This romper from Banana Republic (orig 69.99 - sale 34.99) is just.. no. The top makes me look so much bigger than I really am! It's just an overall definite no.

This top (orginal 39.99 - sale 19.99) I absolutely loved since it's lightweight, flowy, and my favorite color, whtie. However, as you might be able to tell in the first photo, the medium is just too big for me. Unfortunetly, the store I was at didn't have a small, so I had to leave it behind. (Don't you hate when that happens?)
These shorts (original 49.99 - sale 24.99) I tried on in the first photo were WAY too tight, which is strange because I have shorts from Banana republic which are a 4 as well. 6 is my usual size, so I tried them on in a 6 in the second photo. Much better! These shorts are so comfy and I love the eyelet detailing. They will be on heavy rotation this summer!

This dress (original 89.99 - sale 44.99) looked so cute on the mannequin, but when I put it on it wasn't as cute. It just looks too old for my age. The length is too long, and the higher neckline just don't flatter me. If it was shorter and in a fun color I would totally be all over it.

These boyfriend jeans (which I can't find online) got me so excited when I saw them on the rack. To me, they're the perfect wash and I loved the distressing. They gave the illusion that these have been worn to death and that's strangely what I want to find in a boyfriend jean. I've been searching for the perfect pair for almost three years, and unfortunetly, my search will continue. The waist fit well, but they were just too baggy for my taste. Maybe I should start looking into those girlfriend jeans I hear so much about?

Don't mind the baggy jeans, just focus on this top (Original 59.50 - Sale 29.75). Definite winner! It's the perfect crisp, white button up shirt that every girl needs in her closet. Now that i'm in college, this shirt will come in handy for presentations and interviews where I have to dress up. I ended up also picking it up in a blue and white striped pattern. I'm wearing a size 6 which is my regular size.

Now onto The Gap:
Everyone needs a white cardigan (can't find online), so this purchase was a no brainer since my favorite white cardigan shrunk in the wash... :( It's so soft and the length is perfect. I'm pretty sure I got this for around $15.

In the first photo, I tried on these shorts in my regular size 6 and as you can see, they were way too big. I sized down to a 4 and they were perfect. I'm such a sucker for anything striped, so I knew I had to purchase these!

Sigh.. i'm still searching for the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans.. This pair (can't find online) looks fine in the photo, but were very saggy in the back. It made me look like I was wearing a diaper. Not a cute look.

I wasn't crazy about this sweater (original 89.50 - sale 42.99). Sure, it looks fine in the photo, but it was form fitting which is something I don't like in a sweater. I want my sweaters to be big and cozy.

This is more of what I was talking about. This sweater (original 89.50 - sale 42.99) has the perfect amount of looseness to it, plus it has my weaknesses: stripes, blue and white. How could I say no?

Nine west had a buy one get one 50% off sale so I picked up these sandals (unavailable online) in white and black since you can never have too many pairs of sandals. They have a thick sole which it something I specifically look for in a pair of sandals since I have flat feet. Thin soles make my feet hurt so bad, so quickly.

I also got these slip on sneakers because they're probably the most comfortable shoes i've ever worn! I've been searching for the perfect slip-on sneaker and these have answered my prayers! They are so comfy and will be the perfect airport shoe. Anyone else make the mistake of wearing lace-up sneakers through the TSA and ended up holding the whole line up trying to tie them back up? Hope it's not just me... Sorry Syracuse airport...

And finally, my personal favorite: Yankee Candle: 4 for $44:
Candles.. my weakness. Having my room smell like a scented candle is so soothing and calming. As you can tell I have already burned both candles on either end. Couldn't help myself... Don't be fooled by the first canlde, it's not actually the scent. Personally I think it smells just like cotton candy, but the cashier told me it had the wrong label. As for the other scents, I could only find cappuccino online. The others are completely discontinued.
